English Language Requirements:
To gain entry into a course at ECA Graduate Institute Pty Ltd you will need to demonstrate that you have met the required English language proficiency. The English language conversion table below is a general guide to the level of proficiency required for entry into the various award levels. English examination results are valid if no more than 2 years has elapsed between the final examination result date and the date of commencement of the study.

Alternative English Entry Requirements:
Students may be accepted if they have successfully completed a Vocational qualification at a Certificate IV level or above in Australia, or can otherwise demonstrate the required minimum English proficiency.
Those who do not meet the English requirements can be referred to English Language Centre to complete Intensive Courses in English prior to commencing their award courses at ECA Graduate Institute Pty Ltd. The length of these English courses varies, typically from 4 to 20 weeks. After completion of the ELICOS course, the students may be requested to sit for a ECA Graduate Institute Pty Ltd placement test.

ECA Graduate Institute offers packaged courses in the qualifications FNS50215 Certificate IV in Accounting, FNS50215 Diploma of Accounting and FNS60215 Advanced Diploma of Accounting.

If an applicant has completed the FNS40615 Certificate IV in Accounting at EGI or completed the pre-requisite units, then they will be eligible for course credits for the FNS50215 Diploma of Accounting, which will reduce its duration (see below for details).

If an applicant has completed both the FNS40615 Certificate IV in Accounting and FNS50215 Diploma of Accounting at EGI or completed the pre-requisite units, then they will be eligible for course credits for the FNS60215 Advanced Diploma of Accounting, which will reduce its duration (see here for details).

Pathways from the Diploma of Accounting:
After successful completion of an FNS50215 Diploma of Accounting, candidates may undertake the FNS60215 Advanced Diploma of Accounting or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications.
