Academic Entry Requirement:

Applicants into the Graduate Diploma of Telecommunication Network Engineering program must have completed a Bachelor degree in a related field of study and have two (2) years equivalent full-time relevant work-place experience at a significant level of project or program leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.

Alternative Academic Entry Requirements:

Applicants must have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in a related field of study and have three (3) years equivalent full-time relevant work-place experience at a significant level of project or program leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.

English Language Requirements:

The applicant must have sufficient proficiency in English to be able to work successfully in a highly communicative environment. The college may ask the domestic student to sit an English language (writing, speaking, listening and reading) test to verify their English language proficiency.

Alternative English Entry Requirements:

Students may be accepted if they have successfully completed a Vocational qualification at a Certificate IV level or above in Australia, or completed year 12 or secondary studies in applicants home country equivalent to an Australian 12 qualification. Students can otherwise demonstrate the required minimum English proficiency.
Those who do not meet the English requirements can be referred to English Language Centre to complete Intensive Courses in English prior to commencing their award courses at ECA Graduate Insitute. The length of these English courses varies, typically from 4 to 20 weeks. After completion of the ELICOS course, the students may be requested to sit for an ECA Graduate Insitute placement test.
