Academic Entry Requirement:
Entry requirements for the BSB80215 - Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership are:
- Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in related fields of study and 3 years equivalent full-time relevant work-place experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise; or
- Have completed a Bachelor degree in related fields of study and 2 years equivalent full-time relevant work-place experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise; or
- Have five years equivalent full-time relevant work-place experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.
Applicants may enter into the program if they satisfy the entry requirements either from a place of study or a place of work or a combination of the two.

Alternative Academic Entry Requirements:
An approved equivalent of HSC or Higher Qualification.
English Language Requirements:
To gain entry into a course at ECA Graduate Institute you will need to demonstrate that you have met the required English Language Proficiency.
The English language conversion table below is a general guide to the level of proficiency required for entry into the various award levels.
English examination results are valid if no more than 2 years has elapsed between the final examination result date and the date of commencement of the study.
Alternative English Entry Requirements:
Students may be accepted if they have successfully completed a Vocational qualification at a Certificate IV level or above in Australia, or completed year 12 or secondary studies in applicants home country equivalent to an Australian 12 qualification. Students can otherwise demonstrate the required minimum English proficiency.
Those who do not meet the English requirements can be referred to English Language Centre to complete Intensive Courses in English prior to commencing their award courses at ECA Graduate Institute. The length of these English courses varies, typically from 4 to 20 weeks. After completion of the ELICOS course, the students may be requested to sit for an ECA Graduate Institute placement test.
Pathways from Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership:
On completion of this qualification, candidates can choose to study for a postgraduate degree. Candidates may also undertake a range of other Master's degree or pursue higher education.
